Puri: The much awaited meeting of the management committee of the temple is over. In the meeting, I discussed several historical proposals, starting from the construction of a new Sunabesh of the Lord, opening of Srigundicha temple for devotees, special darshan of Dibang, darshan system of Puri residents and sevayat kalyan.
Another golden ornament will be made for the Lord
The biggest decision of the meeting was to make a new gold plated jewelery set for Mahaprabhu. It will be built by the administration of Srimandi from its own funds. Then willing devotees and devotees can also donate voluntarily.
Based on video, photo and digital documentation taken during the gem counting, the jewelery will be made while maintaining the traditional shape, weight and religious authenticity. For this, a technical committee will be formed and the expert body will be given the task of construction.
Srigundicha temple will open from 30th September
Another good news for devotees. Srigundicha temple will open for public from 30th September. Visitation will be available from 6 am to 5 pm.
