Bhubaneswar: Big data has come to light in the assembly regarding the case of missing woman in Odisha. A total of 72,090 women have been reported missing in the state between 2021 and 2025. Of these, 53,720 people have been traced as of July 31, 2026. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi gave this information in the Assembly on Monday.
The Chief Minister has given this information in a written reply to Patna MLA Akhil Chandra Naik's question. According to his data, 11,635 women were reported missing in 2021. Of them, 9,121 have been traced. Similarly, in 2022, 12,793 women went missing while 9,871 were traced. In 2023, 13,915 people went missing while 10,661 people were found missing.
