A common service center (CSC) on NH-49 near Katarbaga School under Rengali police station was robbed late at night on September 9. The robber returned with 4 second hand mobiles and 2 pairs of earbuds. A case was filed under BNS Section 331(4) and 305(A).
Sub-Inspector Samarendra Naik took charge of the investigation. Under his leadership, the police arrested 26-year-old Sanatan Kishan. Based on the information of the accused, 2 stolen Redmi mobiles, one pair of earphones and the iron rod used in the theft were recovered from his house. Notably, the entire seizure process was videographed and preserved as digital evidence.
