Trilochan Mahanth died under treatment after being admitted to a medical center in a critical condition. The deceased's wife is said to be a female conservative.
The incident took place near Khuntapada of Kendeepapshi area under Turumunga police station. According to information, Trilochan of Khajirapshi village was running a public service center near Kendeepashi Street. At around 11:30 PM on Monday night, while he was returning to Patna after closing the shop, the thief stopped him on the road.
According to preliminary information, about 3 rounds were fired at Trilochan. As the bullet rang in his hand, the miscreants later attacked him with sharp weapons. He was admitted to the Dharanidhar Medical Center in a bloody condition. Trilochan died while undergoing treatment.
