The latest US stealth fighter jet F-35A Lightning II will be seen in Indian skies. For the first time, the F-35A has been involved in a multinational air force exercise held in India. The US fighter jets are participating in Exercise Tarang Shakti 2026 at the Jodhpur Air Force Station in Rajasthan.
This is the first exercise participation of F-35A in India, said the US Embassy. The embassy said in a social media post that the F-35A's stealth capabilities, sophisticated sensors and data exchange system will create new opportunities for training and coordination with the Indian Air Force.
The Air Force exercise organized under the theme 'Power in Partnership' will run from September 26 to October 12. Countries like USA, Australia, UAE, France, Germany, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are participating in it along with India. Some other countries have also joined as observers.
